Hojiyev Dilmurod Yaxshiyevich

Head of the Pre-clinical Disciplines Department

Hojiev Dilmurod Yaxshievich is a qualified specialist, scientist, and educator with 25 years of experience in the medical field. He was born on September 21, 1972, in the Bukhara region.

Scientific and Academic Activity:
Dilmurod Yaxshievich’s professional path began in 1989 at the Tashkent State Medical Institute and concluded in 1995 at the Bukhara State Medical Institute with a specialization in "General Practitioner". Later, he completed his clinical residency and postgraduate studies at the V.V. Vohidov Scientific Center of Surgery, obtaining his PhD degree in "Surgery" in 2000. Currently, he holds the academic title of Associate Professor and is conducting research in "Morphology" for his doctoral dissertation (DSc) on the topic "Morphological indicators of liver and spleen in pulmonary fibrosis under normal and experimental conditions".

Career and Management Experience:
His professional career is comprehensive, having managed key divisions within the medical education system:

  • Scientific Activity: He started his career as a junior and senior research fellow at MISTL.
  • Leadership Roles: He served as Chief Physician at the Sanatorium of Bukhara Regional Electric Networks (2001–2002), Head of the Department at the Bukhara Branch of Tashkent State Dental Institute (2015–2016), Acting Dean of the International Faculty at Bukhara State Medical Institute (2018–2020), and Director of the Simulation Center (2020–2022).
  • Current Activity: Since 2022, he worked as the Acting Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Head of the Department at the Termez Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy. Starting from 2025, he has been working as the Head of the Pre-clinical Disciplines Department at Bukhara Innovative Education and Medical University (BIEMU).

Scientific Legacy and Achievements:
Dilmurod Hojiev is the author of more than 30 scientific articles (including those indexed in Scopus and WoS databases), 3 monographs, and 6 textbooks. Under his supervision, students have achieved honorable places in international Olympiads held in Moscow, Bishkek, Perm, and Kazakhstan. He is also the holder of the invention patent No. IAP 8428, registered in 2026.

Personal Qualities and Interests:
In addition to Uzbek and Russian, he speaks English, Tajik, and Slovak at various proficiency levels. He effectively utilizes modern technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities in his professional activities.
