RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS OF THE ACADEMIC AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT:

The Academic Affairs Department is a structural division of the Bukhara Innovative Education and Medical University. Its primary tasks include planning, organizing, and monitoring the educational process at the university.

Main Functions:

• Creating class schedules for 1st-6th year students, checking the summary educational schedule and examination schedules;
• Calculating the number of students, academic groups, and streams for the academic year;
• Preparing curriculum for higher medical education specialties;
• Calculating and coordinating the volume of educational and other work for the department's teaching staff;
• Monitoring student discipline;
• Coordinating the chairpersons of the State Attestation Commission with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• Checking, approving documents, and preparing orders for educational work based on hourly wage rates and contract terms;
• Providing consultations to citizens regarding student transfers from other higher education institutions and academic reinstatement;
• Calculating academic differences in the curricula of higher education institutions.
